Brandon King and the men that work for him did an excellent job installing our wood floors. They are absolutely beautiful, and we are really enjoying them. They had to take up old carpet before they put in the wood floors. They came at their appointed time and did all the work in a timely manner and all the trash was taken away and disposed of. I was pleasantly surprised that their equipment contained the dust from the sanding of the floors so well. We did not have a big dusty mess to clean up afterwards. I have recommend Brandon King to many people, and I will continue to do so. He is honest and trust worthy and does a great job – a hard combination to find these days.

It is with genuine pleasure that I write a review of our experience with King’s Custom Hardwoods. Our home is located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Hampstead, N.C. Original construction was completed in January of 2001. The Oak floors on the main living floor of the house were badly worn and unattractive earlier this year when we made the decision to have it refinished. After discussing the problem with Brandon King we were impressed with his knowledge and passion for proper preparation and care for hardwood flooring. He could not have been more accommodating. We were traveling during the time the work was to be completed and were a little anxious about not being here during the work. When we returned the crew had themselves moved all of the furniture and covered it to prevent dust from ruining the expensive furnishings and art work. In fact there was very little dust. The workmen were professional, courteous, very skilled. The floors were completed on schedule and they were as beautiful as the original finish if not more so. We have been extremely pleased with the work and highly recommend King’s Custom Hardwoods for all your hardwood flooring needs.

I was very pleased with King’s Custom Hardwoods. Before moving in, we had Brandon and others quote a re-finish and blend of our badly worn and discolored kitchen floor (red oak). Brandon quoted the repair, but recommended a re-finish of the whole first floor due to slight cupping of the flooring of the other rooms. After a closer look, I agreed. The work was done on schedule, for a very competitive price, and the floors turned out beautifully. Two years later they are still beautiful. They also did a great job containing/cleaning up the dust. I’ve had other floors refinished (and done some myself), but King’s was the best!
